How we handle your information.
In plain language, under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. The short version: we collect only what you send us, use it only to reply, and do not sell it or add it to mailing lists.

Who we are
Africa Inclusion Technologies ("AIT", "we") runs this website and decides how the information collected through it is used. Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), that makes us the data controller. You can reach us about anything in this notice through the contact page.
What we collect
| Information | Why | How long we keep it |
|---|---|---|
| What you type into the contact form: name, organisation, email, phone or WhatsApp number if you give one, what you need, the problem you describe and your timing | To read and reply to your enquiry | Up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless it leads to a contract, in which case contract records rules apply |
| Your IP address, turned into a one-way code | To stop more than five enquiries an hour from one connection | One hour, then deleted automatically |
| Signals from your browser checked by Cloudflare Turnstile | To tell people from automated spam without a puzzle | Handled by Cloudflare under its own terms; we receive only a pass or fail |
| Page views counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics | To see which pages are useful, in total | Aggregated counts only; no cookies and no profile of you |
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or tracking scripts.
Videos on this site use YouTube's privacy-enhanced player, and nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. Once you do, YouTube's own privacy terms apply to that video.
Our lawful basis
We use your enquiry because you consent to it when you tick the box on the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time; it does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. We use IP addresses and spam checks because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the form and the site secure.
Who receives it
Your enquiry is read by the AIT staff who handle it. To deliver it, we use service providers who process data for us and on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this site, runs the form and provides the spam check.
- Google, which stores your enquiry in a private Google Sheet that only AIT can open, and sends two emails through Gmail: one to AIT with your details, and one to you confirming we received it.
We do not sell your information, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.
Transfers outside Nigeria
Some of these providers process data on servers outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards the NDPA allows for cross-border transfers, such as contractual protections with the provider.
Your rights
Under the NDPA you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- stop or limit how we use it, or object to it;
- send it to you, or to someone else, in a common format.
To make a request, use the contact page and say what you need. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to theNigeria Data Protection Commission.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS only. The form checks every field on the server, rejects anything unexpected, and keeps your enquiry only in our private enquiries sheet and inbox. Access to our hosting, code and inbox is protected with two-factor authentication.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
